Why can't I post a balanced journal?
Balance alone does not satisfy line-count, period, backdating and Nonprofit checks.
You need Post journal entries permission and a draft with at least two saved lines. Zero-amount lines are not saved. A closed General year, closed or locked fiscal periods and the backdating limit can block the date even when debits equal credits. Nonprofit also checks mappings, financial coding and balanced funds.
