I cannot find a page
Check your business, feature settings and access when a sidebar row is missing.
- Who can do this
- Anyone with access to the business; settings changes need the relevant settings access
- You'll need
- The page name and the business where you expect to find it
A missing menu row often reflects the current business or its enabled features. Check the location before changing access.
Find the expected screen
- Confirm you opened the correct business.
- Use Find your way around to check the current navigation.
- Ask the owner to check whether the page's feature is enabled.
- Ask them to compare your access with the permissions the task requires.
The sidebar uses the business's enabled modules, features, edition and your permissions. An owner-only page remains restricted even if someone grants a related permission.
Check a feature setting
Someone with Manage business settings, roles & permissions can review Settings, then Features. For example, Advanced accounting controls the chart and journal rows, and Tax controls the tax rows. Turning on a feature makes it available in navigation where access allows; it does not grant permission to use it.
If the page still cannot be found, contact support with the business name, missing page name and any message from its address. Do not use another person's account to get around an access restriction. For a colleague-specific difference, follow My teammate cannot see something.
