My bank stopped updating

Check the latest sync and connection message to decide whether to retry or contact support.

An old sync time is the first clue. A disconnected or unhealthy connection cannot fetch new records.

Read the latest result

  1. Open Banking, then Bank accounts.
  2. Select the affected account.
  3. Check Plaid Sync and Last Sync.
  4. If the connection is healthy, select Sync Now, or Start Initial Sync if none has run.
  5. Read the result before retrying.

Starting a sync needs Edit bank transactions. If you can view the account but cannot start it, ask the owner to check your access.

Follow the connection message

An expired or unhealthy connection needs support review. The account pages do not provide a reconnect or disconnect control. Retrying a sync does not renew authorization, and an account awaiting removal cannot continue syncing.

If some bank records could not be saved, the sync can fail after saving others. The next sync retries the failed records; do not replace the entire history with another upload.

Contact support if the same failure returns, or a healthy sync leaves a known statement gap. Include the account name, latest sync time and exact error text. Never send online banking passwords.
