Connect Stripe

Authorize your Stripe account and review the connection before taking invoice payments or importing activity.

You'll need
A Stripe account that is not connected to another business
On this page

Connect the Stripe account that belongs to the business you have open. Authorization takes place on Stripe, then returns you to QixCount.

Authorize the account

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Integrations.
  3. Select Connect Stripe. If an active connection exists, the label is Manage Stripe.
  4. Select Connect with Stripe on the Stripe Connections page.
  5. Complete Stripe's authorization flow.

QixCount returns you to Stripe Connections and shows a success or error message.

What happens next

QixCount saves the account details and sets the connection to Connected. It supplies initial account mappings and turns on syncing for charges, refunds, fees and payouts. It creates the Stripe clearing and processing fee accounts if their account codes do not already exist.

Connecting alone does not start a historical import. Review the account mappings, including the payout bank account, before starting a sync. To add card payment links to invoices, enable online payments.

Troubleshooting

If QixCount says Stripe Connect is not configured, contact support.

If authorization returns a state mismatch or no authorization code, start again with Connect with Stripe. You must still be signed in and have access to the business when Stripe returns you to QixCount.

Who can do this and what you need

Only business owners can connect Stripe, and you also need access to authorize the Stripe account. QixCount rejects a Stripe account already connected to another business.
