Who can do this: Owners, or people with *View financial reports*

Where: Reports, then AR aging

Accounts receivable (AR) aging groups unpaid invoice balances by customer and due date. You need **View financial reports** permission, or owner access.

## Set the scope

1. In General, open **Reports**. In Nonprofit, use **Other reports** under **Nonprofit**, **Reports**, or the shared **Reports** group when shown.
2. Select **AR aging**.
3. Select **Customer**, or leave **All Customers** selected.
4. Enter **As of Date**.
5. Select **Update**.

The report includes invoices with a positive balance whose current status is sent, viewed, partial or overdue. Draft, paid and void invoices are excluded. The customer selector lists active customers.

## Read the aging buckets

| Column | Meaning relative to the selected date |
| --- | --- |
| **Current** | Due on or after that date. |
| **1-30** | Due 1–30 days earlier. |
| **31-60** | Due 31–60 days earlier. |
| **61-90** | Due 61–90 days earlier. |
| **90+** | Due more than 90 days earlier. |
| **Total** | Remaining invoice balances across all buckets. |

**Total Receivables** adds the included balances. **Overdue** adds all overdue buckets. **Severely Overdue** adds the balances more than 60 days past due. Select a customer summary row to hide or show its invoice detail. Select an invoice number to inspect it; viewing the invoice requires its own permission.

## Understand the date and control limits

The selected date changes the aging buckets, but amounts and invoice statuses are current. It does not reconstruct historical balances or exclude invoices created after that date. An invoice paid since an earlier date is absent today.

Use the due date and bucket to assess whether an invoice is overdue. To print this report, select the printer icon.

## What happens next

Select **Analyze** to request Qix's explanation; analysis is unavailable when no outstanding receivables match. To reduce an invoice balance, [record a payment](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/invoicing/record-a-payment) with the required payment permission. If no included invoices remain, the report displays **No Outstanding Receivables**.
