Qix answers questions about the current business and prepares selected accounting actions. Open the chat widget to use it. Your account permissions determine which tools and saved alerts are available. Direct prompts check the matching tool permission before reading records. Nonprofit businesses also need approved account mappings and an active Operating fund.

Qix can make mistakes. Check its figures against your records and review what it proposes before approving an action.

| --- | --- |
| Pending | Qix prepared an action for your review. |
| Approved | Your approval was recorded; execution has not completed. |
| Executed | The action completed; check the resulting record. |
| Rejected | You declined the proposed action. |
| Failed | The action did not complete successfully. |
| Expired | The confirmation period ended. |

Invoices and bills created through Qix start as drafts. Recording a payment can affect your books; a vendor payment may first need your business's separate payment approval.

Use the [customer payment form](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/invoicing/record-a-payment) or [bill payment form](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/bills-and-vendors/record-a-bill-payment) to choose and check accounts and allocations. For batches that require separate approval, use individual bill payments. If a batch is already waiting for approval, contact support before entering a replacement.
