# Rate a Qix answer

Mark an answer as helpful or not helpful using the feedback buttons below the response.

Canonical: https://demo.qixcount.com/help/qix-ai/rate-your-answers

Who can do this: People rating their own Qix answers with internal or assigned firm accountant access; free viewers cannot submit ratings

You'll need: Qix’s chat window enabled and an answer in your own conversation

Rate a Qix response to record whether it helped you. You can rate assistant messages from your own conversations in the current business.

## Leave a rating

1. Ask Qix a question.
2. Find **Was this helpful?** beneath the returned answer, when the rating controls appear.
3. Select **Helpful** for thumbs up or **Not helpful** for thumbs down.
4. Check for **👍 Thanks!** or **👎 Noted** to confirm the rating saved.

Not every reply shows rating controls. Reopening a conversation does not add them to earlier answers. If the controls are absent, continue with your question without leaving a rating. A rating records your feedback about the answer; it does not approve a pending action or change a financial record.

Next, read [How Qix finds Help Center instructions](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/qix-ai/help-center-answers).

## If the rating fails

If **Rating failed. Try again?** appears, select the relevant rating button again. If **Unable to save rating** appears, the request did not complete.

The widget sends a thumbs-up or thumbs-down choice. It does not display a written-feedback box.

Qix can make mistakes. A helpful rating is not a check of the figures or a guarantee that the answer is correct. Review your records and what Qix proposes before approving a change.
