QixCount brings your accounting work into a business workspace. You can belong to more than one business. Choose the business you want before working in its books.

## Choose your edition

General is for businesses. It brings together customers, invoices, vendors, bills, banking and reports. Nonprofit is for US nonprofit organizations. It also includes funds, programs, gifts and grants.

Your workspace and the permissions assigned to you determine which pages you can open. A menu row that another person can see may be hidden for you. Ask your business owner about access if you cannot find a page you need.

## Find your next task

Use the Help Center search to look for a task. Suggestions appear as you type. Select a suggestion to open a guide, or submit your search to see all results. On other Help pages, select the search link in the header or press `/` when you are not typing in a field. Press Escape to close search.

On the Help home, topic and results pages, select Business for General guides, Nonprofit for Nonprofit guides, or All to browse both. The choice applies to the guides you browse; it does not change your business settings.

If you are ready to bill a customer, start with [Create an invoice](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/invoicing/create-an-invoice). Before choosing QixCount for a workflow, read [What QixCount does not do yet](https://demo.qixcount.com/help/getting-started/what-qixcount-does-not-do-yet).

## Get help with a screen

Select the question mark in your workspace header to open a help panel for the screen. Its search and guide links open in another tab so you can keep your place. If a guide does not answer your question, use its Contact support link and describe the task and the message you see.
