# How do I reset a forgotten password?

Request a reset link from sign-in and use it to choose a replacement password.

Select **Forgot password?** on sign-in, enter your account email and select **Send Reset Link**. Open the emailed link to enter and confirm a new password. If the link is rejected, request a fresh one. A password reset does not disable two-step verification; you still need the authenticator or a recovery code afterward.
