# Why can't I approve a Qix action?

Approval belongs to the requester and checks expiry, permissions and the current workspace.

Only the person who requested a pending action can approve it. Actions expire after 24 hours by default, and execution checks your current permissions and accounting restrictions again. Nonprofit readiness or a closed posting date can block execution after preparation succeeded. Check existing records before requesting a replacement after an expiry or failure. Qix can make mistakes.
